Boeing still rules, airbus made an big jet, but boeing does more than anyone can imagine there are boeing factories for small planes in europe, Airbus has big planes but Boeing has the better planes. It's a fact boys. BTW i live in Europe.
@kratosss19999 Hola, probablemente (esperemos) en el proximo verano 2012 con vuelo diario a Paris CDG, remplazando sus 2 actuales vuelos con equipos 777 200/300 y 747 400
@ultranavy It's always like that with the A380 and it's because if they use all of them they can kick dirt on the side of the rwy or even from the grass and ingest it into the engine :)
I am a fan of boeing, and love the 747. But i know every dought in my mind i think this plane is a beauty. I'm not a favorite of neither the Boeing 747 or the airbus a380, because they are one of the most beautiful piece of machinery in the world.
I SALUTE TO AIRBUS AND BOEING FOR MAKING THE TWO MOST AMAZING PLANE SON EARTH!
@SinclairisCool And ordering more 773ER's along with A380s to compensate. They have the second largest order for 773ER. They aren't just replacing their 744's with A380's you know. They are also withdrawing the earlier variants of their A320's and A321's and replacing them with the -200 variants...also learn the "there, their, and they're forms"...
@futurepilot2394 - originally designed w/o reversers, but later were added on inner engines only, reducing debris disturbance and resultant FOD from outer engines.
In eastern cultures an arch of water is a symbol of wealth and prosperity. Essentially spraying it over the newly-arrived airplane is a symbolic welcoming and wishing of the best to the plane.
@FatPizza56 I am European mysel and I support European economy, but cast your mind back to the last few big commercial air-disasters - Air France from Rio, Air Afrique to Tripoli, Yemenia Airways to the Comores. Those planes were from AIRBUS, not Boeing....
That's Huge! I think Boeing and Airbus produce amazing planes! Hope they continue like that to give us more airlpanes to fight about!

Anybody know why is it that the A380 only deploys reverse thrust on engines 2 and 3???
futurepilot2394 2 years ago
so that is greener!!!because consumes less fuel only using 2 engines!!!!!!!
