  • That's Huge! I think Boeing and Airbus produce amazing planes! Hope they continue like that to give us more airlpanes to fight about!

  • Boeing still rules, airbus made an big jet, but boeing does more than anyone can imagine there are boeing factories for small planes in europe, Airbus has big planes but Boeing has the better planes. It's a fact boys. BTW i live in Europe.

  • are those rolls royce or engine allience engines?

  • Franches ...

  • when come the a380 to mexico city?

  • Hop one day Air France Airbus A380-800 can comme to Beijing China !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is a BIG plane! yeesh

  • brings back great memories- thanks

  • why only use 2 engine for reverse thrust? lol

  • @ultranavy It's always like that with the A380 and it's because if they use all of them they can kick dirt on the side of the rwy or even from the grass and ingest it into the engine :)

  • @999lifegoes oh i see thanks for the info :D

  • I've flown in it! AF A380 F-HPJA :D

    A380 forever!!! :)

  • Why that squirt water of the plain? Somebody tell me?:)

  • shame they couldn't get the gap in between AIR and France like the A346 parked behind it!! ahhh ha ha ha! Great video though!

  • I am a fan of boeing, and love the 747. But i know every dought in my mind i think this plane is a beauty. I'm not a favorite of neither the Boeing 747 or the airbus a380, because they are one of the most beautiful piece of machinery in the world.

I SALUTE TO AIRBUS AND BOEING FOR MAKING THE TWO MOST AMAZING PLANE SON EARTH!

  • amazing =)

  • 1:46, thats one hell of a jet bridge

  • HA! Air France is withdrawing there 747-400's!

  • @SinclairisCool And ordering more 773ER's along with A380s to compensate. They have the second largest order for 773ER. They aren't just replacing their 744's with A380's you know. They are also withdrawing the earlier variants of their A320's and A321's and replacing them with the -200 variants...also learn the "there, their, and they're forms"...

  • @SinclairisCool Just wait for the 747-800s.

  • @cesar333

    oh well.

    Airbus rules :)

  • Nice

  • Going on the Airbus A380 for the first time ever in August with Air France. Flying from LHR to CDG, can't wait!

  • it's cool... i want to travel with this plane

  • Surprisingly Air France A380 looks beautiful.

  • its he no she , duhhhh this is a big daddy big mummy is 747 boeing

  • @michellocci Any form of vehicle is a she, unless you own it, therefore it can be any gender you want :)

  • Its no bigger then my car.

  • she looks nice, but if she were stretched a bit she'd look so much more beautiful

  • Wonderful plane! I love Air France.

  • Nice plane. What engines is Air France using for their a380's?

  • @rb21122b - Engine Alliance GP7000

  • @rb21122b Rolls royce trent 900

  • @negrettobono

No they are not, its the Engine Alliance GP7000

  • Anybody know why is it that the A380 only deploys reverse thrust on engines 2 and 3???

  • so that is greener!!!because consumes less fuel only using 2 engines!!!!!!!

  • @futurepilot2394 - originally designed w/o reversers, but later were added on inner engines only, reducing debris disturbance and resultant FOD from outer engines.

  • The water isn't de-ice the plane. They baptise it

  • *isn't to

  • @Jewls1993

It's also done on a captain's last flight before retirement..

  • le aterrizacj perfuct

  • Why do they spray the water?

    Great vid :D

  • @dantorp11

In eastern cultures an arch of water is a symbol of wealth and prosperity. Essentially spraying it over the newly-arrived airplane is a symbolic welcoming and wishing of the best to the plane.

  • To De-Ice the plane. =)

  • @dantorp11 This water is to salute a new coming aircraft!! It is done even when a new airliner serves a new country!

  • its like a welcome type of thing or like a greeting..

  • beautfull and it goes well with the liver

  • Great Landing

  • And soon, Lufthansa will receive its first A380.

  • Big but elegant.

  • Fodaa !!! ^^

  • yes =) thats great =)

  • @FatPizza56 so true

  • @FatPizza56 A flying beer can.

  • @FatPizza56 I am European mysel and I support European economy, but cast your mind back to the last few big commercial air-disasters - Air France from Rio, Air Afrique to Tripoli, Yemenia Airways to the Comores. Those planes were from AIRBUS, not Boeing....

  • @drmartyn Well if you compare to the previous record, Can you count the number of passengers fatalities in Boeing aircraft?

  • she looks BEATUIFUL! is she staying parked there untill there first flight in november?

  • singapore airlines painting on a380 is much more cooler that airfrance

  • Buterfull!

  • C'est 30 Octobre :) mais vraiment un atterrissage tres équilibré, tres doux...

  • Beautiful Landing!!

  • 30 novembre?
