Thanks for keeping his memory; I was so young when he died, and still, I use to watch his videos and I've been keeping all his pics and posters. Now I can share this with my daugther, that is also a little fan of Jon Erik...25 years, and he is still present.

Kagi- I don't think that it was about the question being too personal. He always took questions very seriously and so that became a hard question to answer seriously. I don't think he wanted to tell people what to think about him, but to have their own thoughts, what ever they were. I don't think he KNEW how he wanted people to think about him because the idea that he would want them to think a certain was was foreign to him. His mind would not go there.

thanks for your reply. in 1985 i joined the jon erik hexum fan club, but it only lasted for a while and than because of certain problems the fan club had, it ceased, obviousley it started a while back again. but curious on this interview, what could the question have been to jon erik that he was so uncomfortable with- must have been a very personal question.

You're welcome...I don't remember all of it, but she kept pressing with questions about what does he want people to think of him? How would he describe himself? What type is he? Something along those lines...and he didn't give her a proper answer, it was like 'Judge for yourself, lady.' lol. It seemed he didn't want to be put into a certain mold. I'll have to watch that one again.

I actually don't know the name of the interview, on the JEH Scrapbook dvds I think it is listed as unknown. It's not a regular interview, it's almost like the interview before the interview. The woman had some questions that he was hesitant to answer. All his interviews can be bought from the JEH Fanclub. That's the link I have in the video information box.

Thank you very much. As far as I know, he was very saddened by it. It appeared that he and Jon had developed a close friendship much like Bogg and Jeff. There is a 'Mysteries and Scandals' episode posted where Meeno speaks about him. It's on the 'hexumremembered channel.'

Well he may have cared about JEH at one time, but the little shit grew up and forgot him. I say this because many, including myself ask him to write something of memoir about JEH and he has never done it. I think that is really selfish. The little turd, still is one.

Yes, his brother is still alive and lives in Massachusetts. I assume they were close. I don't know if he has children or anything, though.

The clip on the Scrapbook dvds doesn't look like something that's been taped from TV. It's more like the original uncut footage of the camera team. I'd love to know where this came from. I just love how polite he is during the takes when the interviewer does some small talk with him.

Me too! I remember Jon's death. It was so sudden and sad. I was so upset when my school collegues told me the news. We all loved him and he was more than his beautiful face. Aww..thanks for the comments. I love to read them. He just looks dashing in that particular interview. I loved when he wore the sideswept hair for the Pilot of Cover Up...and all those pictures he took with it. This song is so sad and beautiful. I immediately thought of him when my sis told me to hear it. That's cool you know guitar, I wish I could play an instrument. Jon was an accomplished piano player too. :)

I just recently discovered Jon Erik in his "Male Model" movie, and I fell in love with this beautiful man! I wondered why I hadn't seen him in anything more recent, and that's when I learned about his tragic death. It depressed the hell out of me! I too shed tears for him. How very sad!!! But at least he gave us all some wonderful memories to forever cherish!
