    My photo liiks just like yours... checkerboard gray and white... but the saved image has a white background.

  • when i use the backround eraser i then get the normal eraser but when i use it it will not make the coulour i want it will make squares like the background eraser! plz help

    i got another issue with the bacground eraser this:

    it would delete but i have to click-click-click in ordeer to erase i cant just hold the mouse and start moving around to erase

  • thank you so much, this video really does help both dummies and pre-intermediates, cause it's just simple and easy to understand. there are lots of different ways to make that job, but once again, your shown way is the most understandable. :)

  • dude ur voice v clear. and ur explainations just superb. but my pic is such that the background is of similar color to my jacket. could u tell trick or refer to other of ur videos 4 dat?

  • try a smaller tolerance percentage and making the brush smaller. If the brush "hardness" is adjustable, try playing with those settings too.

  • i followed what you said to do...and the eraser still wont erase just the background...it erases everything. i have fiddled with the tolerance level and different size brushes and it still wont work...help

  • Try lowering the tolerance on the upper Tool Options bar.
