I think the humour in this is quite british, which may be why people don't get it, but I'm not sure, may just not be funny to some people. His relaxed (or boring, depending on your opinion) style is quite nice I think, it's as if he's just joking with audience of friends, instead of constantly cranking out punchlines with no real character.

It wasn't particularly funny, il give you that, but how exactly was he expressing the belief of racial inferiority towards the Chinese by saying "if you don't want to know the results.. look away now". He was simply joking about how bad news should have the option to not hear the outcome at the end of the report like football scores do.

Even the earthquake "joke" isn't that funny. Not sure about this guy. Prefer comedians to be a bit snappier,quicker and wittier than him but it's personal choice after all. We all have different levels at which we find something funny ... or not, as for me, in this case.

Arnold Brown is one of my favourite comedians, languid, not afraid to take his time to draw you in before the punchline, I love his pacing, reminds me of Norman Lovett and Simon Evans.
