the problem may be that in microsoft downloads they offer windows xp sp3 so you can't boot this.. well, however you can upload the iso you made from the legit xp cd and allow us to download it

Thanks for the video. i downloaded VBox on my Vista computer. i am trying to run WinXP, can you please explain where did you the .ISO image file and how do you setup with VBox, i downloaded the one from MS but doesn't see to work.

No problem. I actually made the ISO from a Legit Windows XP Pro disc I purchased from my college bookstore. The program I used to create the ISO is called InfraRecorder and is a free/open source program.

Once you make the ISO from your XP disc, all you have to do is point to it as the bootup CD in the initial setup of your VM [see 0:35].

If that does not work at first, Download a program called MagicDisc and then mount the ISO, then point to the drive that the ISO is mounted to [see 0:35].
