We've not had the death penalty in the UK for about 50 years & for rmost of my adult life I have always been proud that we don't have it.But the older I get,& the more I see of these incidents,where innocents are brutally treated & murdered,well,I have to ask,does simply imprisoning these 'monsters',even for life,serve any real purpose?! Yes,it has been pointed out that executing a prisoner actually costs more than keeping someone incarcerated forlife! But,there HAS to be a way forward.
