A battle between two of the most beautiful and powerful androids in the history of gaming. For a first fight, KOS-MOS put up a good one against T-elos, but she just wasn't strong enough. I don't care what the haters say, as long as the cutscenes are interesting, their length doesn't matter. I never once skipped any cutscene in any of the 3 Xenosaga games, because they're just THAT DARN GOOD! It's a shame the trilogy didn't do well enough to continue on with the series, but what we got was epic.

Actually it's because Telos is a threat to our beloved Shion and her allies. KOSMOS fights to try to protect and save their lives by sacrificing hers.

Of course, it's REALLY just part of a much bigger play. They need Shion's powers as the Maiden of Mary Magdalene to activate KOSMOS' true powers to fulfill one very specific task.

I won't say much after that since it'll spoil it.

And no, Third is awesome friggin amazing. You are missing out dude.

I am glad the voice of KOS-MOS sounds much more like the voice in Episode I, I hated the voice in Episode II. Same with MOMO. This fight was pretty tough though, actually all of the battles with T-elos were tough.

Agreed. Only time I had anyone die in this battle was when she used T-Scylla and I hadn't healed up the person she targeted. Even then, you're pretty much flat out told when she'll use it and get a turn to prepare for it. All you gotta do for this fight is heal up before T-Scylla and use a little common sense and keep your break gauge low  instead of concentrating only on HP healing.
