i read the book a while ago and its really realyl messed up and nuts but i loved it hearing him read from it is kick ass!! hes coming to utah on friday the 13th in march i cant wait to see him for the first tiem solo. i saw primus 5 times!! read the book it rules!!!
I'm reading the book, it's very good so far, but one of the chapters is 'questionable' in it's raunchiness. I'm almost finished. IF ANYONE WANTS, I CAN REVIEW THE BOOK FOR YOU.
He does man...lol on the blame it on the fish dvd he said "this song is about a trip a friend and i made.. and... well i'll just say it. i was on hallucinogenics drugs. sorry dad."
South Of the Pumphouse. Wikipedia says that it's about two brothers; Ed and Earl. One (Ed, who was inspired by Claypool himself) leaves a small town and goes to life in the city where he meets his brother who is a meth addict
les always talks bout fish cuz it seems to be a very important part of his life he used to go fishing in san pablo bay with his dad while his parents were divorced and he loved it and htye always caught sturgeon (got this form an interview i watcthed) so anything bout fish is talking about his life growing up with his parents being divorced i think
I was actually very, very, very far from being bored. We only had one camera going at this event and I think it looks better then setting up a tripod at the back of the room and hoping it turns out ok.
South of the Pumphouse, you can find it just about anywhere, including Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble. If not there, then definitely on Les' website.
brilliant book

True or false. Is he or was he a meth addict? Or did he just dabble in it? I mean it's none of my business but Les Claypool is fascinating.
FlavorRed 3 years ago
That was his brother
cluclumaster 3 years ago
He's not fascinating if he did meth, he's just a goner in that case. He seems like a talented weirdo.

Much Better than a talentless boring smuck.
