such a sick edit!! does smoothstar ship to the US? or would the shipping be ridiculously expensive haha? i'm from florida and i don't get a ton of opportunities to surf but i'm always looking to improve!
only seen from pictures but i reckon your 32" would look heaps sicker if you had more shape down the board instead of them straight edges, either that or you drop the width down an inch or so. still your boards are gnarly as
@SmoothStarSurf lol crewser 36 i like your boards but recently got hybrid 35 from original and it carves better than your trucks the original trucks turn tighter than yours in my opinion even if the crewser 36 has a shorter wheel base than the hybrid the hybrid 35 turns way tighter im not saying that smooth star boards suck im just saying that original hybrid 35 is a better surf simulator (more surfy feel) and all of there boards turn really tight because of thre trucks
@darkwolf21100 You should try the 32" Flying Fish! This board has the tightest turning ark of all the boards. One of the leading surfing magazines road tested a whole lot of surfing skateboards and they stated that Smoothstar was the closest thing to surfing.
@plcluvssoccer First location - Maroubra Skatepark, Sydney Australia, 7am first light. Second Location was Royal National Park 30km South of Sydney. Got caught by park rangers, was almost disaster, but was worth it.

@HodgsonHawaii Yeah we used 3 cameras. Canon 7D for main camera because it was flexible, quick to set focus for action shots. We used 5D as second camera for close ups. The colour grading in post was a bitch and had to go through every shot to match colours. Used the GoPro for the skateboard shots cause it is HD quality and lightweight for the rider.
@DubCartel Only the shots on the skateboard were shot on GoPro. One of the unique things about this skateboard are the front trucks. You can see this at 1.00. We used the GoPro to get this becuase it is so small and lightweight, it didn't intrude on the rider.
We Especially liked the GoPro action at the very end when he crashes the camera 2.50. We ended up breaking the GoPro casing... but it was worth it cause it looks cool.
