SPOILER ALERT:

I loved this movie a lot...up until Smike's death. If it hadn't been for that, this would've been a favourite of mine. But that was too sad. Not to say it was bad and that it didn't serve as some benefit to the story, but I was just enjoying the film on a light-hearted note and was shocked by the sadness of that part.

Awesome! The movie is so great! especially the cast....I love Jamie Bell, he's a great actor!!

The movie plays with the feelings of the audience very hard. One moment it's just funny and the next moment it's really sad... So you have tears in your eyes during the whole film. Amazing!

Besides, Charlie Hunnam is just fantastic! He plays Nickleby kind of two faced, I think. I didn't know that he played also in QAF, which shows his dynamic in acting, too.

Bought this on dvd on a whime. Worth every penny. Unlike Oliver Twist, Nickolas Nickleby is a luck child, bringing good fortune to anyone with a good heart. Love this film... favorite qoute "Your supposed to be a savage! Not a demented fairy!"
