those are they ebay lights made in hong kong, they are cheap. All he did was mount them to a bar and wire them up to the sho-me rotary flasher to make them do the pattern. The flasher has 8 inputs he has 8 lights. You hook up 4 for one side and 4 for the other this is what you get.Dont believe me ? go to ebay and search "4x48 led" and watch my video on you tube because I have them too with a sound off flasher. But I did solder in the red leds because mine were all white. This guys a liar
Could you send me some directions and a parts list on how to build one?? I would appreciate it cause Im A firefighter and Dont have a whole lot of money to blow right now!! I would Be willing to Pay you some money though!! Thanks
check around your department for guys looking to sell older lightbars and sirens etc. Thats what i did and got an LED mini-bar for a great price, its a brotherhood and that means helping eachother out.
hi there your lightbar is fantastic did you make the flash pattern controll yourself or did you bye it.if you made it yourself how much would you charge for a cuircuite diagram as im wanting to make my own thanx rick
Iv seen a few like these on youtube and would like to build one. Where would I get the led lights from. I can get a sho-me controller for about £30 but i dont know where to get the light units from.
hey man how much would you sell one of these for? or better yet just how hard was it to make this and about how much did this run you? and you said u just picked all this up from a local store?
The lights are wired up similar to the ones in your videos, but the strobe circuit is bought from a store. I did not make it, it may be easier just to purchase it instead of trying to make all of the patterns that this one does.
LED's are cheap and easy to find($0.30), when making your own LED light bar or LED flashing device make sure to get Ultra bright LED's as normal ones just dont do it, see the video response i posted, these are LED light systems I made myself that on a larger scale are dam cool, im busy working on a light bar (60 LED's) now and will upload the video soon.
There are plenty of places that sell LED's by bulk but I have not found a place that does them like you are asking. I built all of these by hand, I would be happy to build something for you.
Willing to build me on???

Why would someone need a homemade Police light bar
Spkn07 2 years ago
@Spkn07 its police only if its red/blue alternating
Indianmalujl 2 years ago
New York uses red-only for police.
Many Sheriff Departments use blue-only.
chase312 2 years ago
@Spkn07 cheaper. if you are sommenting on this video, you must be aware that they cost thousands of dollars?

fireman2003sdfd 3 years ago
Sorry I do not have directions, I soldered a bunch of LED's to circuit boards and wired them up to a sho me rotary flasher.
bons0010 3 years ago
How is it "double row" ? some patterns divide the bar into two flashing groups, but that's about it.
dmitry103 3 years ago 2
It has 2 rows of LED's
bons0010 3 years ago
I see, nice job. You might also go multi-colors. b/a b/w a/w for instance and consider selling these :)

hi, do you have a circuit diagram for these strobs.
I am looking for them since many weeks now, but can't find the strobe circuit to make one for myself.

The lights are wired up similar to the ones in your videos, but the strobe circuit is bought from a store. I did not make it, it may be easier just to purchase it instead of trying to make all of the patterns that this one does.

thanks, what Strobe control you are using.

I need to find leds pre mounted to a board in rows of 4 x 10 or 2 x 10 any ideas?

bons0010 3 years ago
Where did you get just the led lights. I can't find a place that sells just the blocks of led lights for a nice price.
johndsick123 3 years ago
This looks great! What flasher did you use?
honkycowboy 3 years ago
I have a sho me rotary flasher. It has 8 outputs for LED lights. I'm looking to build a amber one so I might want to get rid of this one.
bons0010 3 years ago
