Get an "Otter Box", THEY are the best, built Tough. I've dropped my iPhone 4 several times, and nothing, not even a scratch. Great for those in construction work!

It has a hard plastic case, with a vinyl lining inside, and then a soft rubber case goes over the plastic case. The included belt clip wraps around the belt a bit and locks into place, so it Will Not Come Off, and also double as a stand for TV watching.
