  • It amazes me that toyota have gone to great lenghs to make harder it to add extra batteries to a so called green .The only other thing that gets me is it can only do thirty mile an hour before the engine cuts in iu expect they have that limited as well .I am glad there are people working on conversions for the prius, the standard car to me is a lie to please people .

  • We need to increase the exposure of EV, the more people drive in them the and the more people see these the better.

The bad part is the smoke and mirrors use to fool people, like Ethanol (using soil&water) is green, or that Hydrogen is around the corner(too expensive), or suggesting EV's are just around the corner when their suppressing tech.

Id might be an idea to rent RAV4-EVs so more people could try them.

Whats your take on the upcoming i MiEV from Mitsubishi(should be av in japan)

  • I want one.

  • Why is it that open source people with no money can make things that billion dollar corporations can't make. My EV conversion is costing under $3000, and will have a 45 mile range. The Volt, if it ever exists, will have an electric range of 40 miles, and will cost about $35,000. That's just embarrassing.

  • The billion dollar companies want to sell their other products. when people see just how superior plugins and pure ev's are, (and assuming were not talking about MORON HICKS who will only buy a car if it makes a loud 'VROOM' noise) they wont continue to sell their inferior products, so they refuse to sell the EV's at all. Also, car companies earn their cash on the replacement parts to I.C.E. engines. money they wont make with EV's. its up to people like US to start this revolution. Pass the word

  • Hey, I haven't thought of that. ICE engines have a million parts. I have a car that always has something going wrong with it. I've spent thousands on that piece of junk! An EV has a post that spins! Nothing to break.

  • @MPaulHolmes buy a japanese car.

  • haha, good idea!

Here's an update by the way, my EV only cost $800 to make, and the homemade controller was about $250, and lets you go freeway speeds if you have the voltage (like at least 120-144v). My crappy car is only 72v. See the videos! ya!

  • Thanx!!

  • "looks like we're in the right place"

*shot of EV parking only sign*

good way to end the video! *applauds*
