For the record the last five generations of the dynasty have signed and officially spelt their name as WADIYAR ! It is futile to argue otherwise !

The British people miss spelt WODEYAR OR UDAIYAR as Wadiyar... but its not WADIYAR... the actual surname or caste name is WODEYAR (UDAIYAR).
