Hello n4mwd-The main focus of this video was to communicate the proper usage of the tool. In this scenario the chain was just slightly out of adjustment and the angle of the camera made it difficult to see that. It would be a lot more obvious if the alignment was way off and at that point you would adjust it accordingly, just as Chris instructed. I hope this answers your question. Looks like a nice tool. However, in the video, they show a close up of the tool on the sprocket and he says it needs to be adjusted, but the tool looks inline with the chain. Did I miss something?
