I had an onboard IMU at one point. I was using a gyro to assist me in driving straight (kinda hard with a differential drive sometimes).
Last year's version had a basic level of autonomy that used bump sensors. I always have bigger plans in mind...
Spend 30 minutes with a normal push mower, or 4 hours with a 6 inch blade, hmm
