  • @amund2870 din sang ja : ) Den ble laget av Kyu Sakamoto :P Han døde i en flyulykke,og da skrev han den sangen til kona si ( tror det var sånn,hvis ikkke så skyld på meg xD)

  • @HottiMe3 Det er korrekt at Sakamoto døde i en flyulykke, nærmere bestemt JAL 123, 12 August 1985 @ Osutaka, men "Ue o muite arukō", "Sukiyaki", er fra 1961.

  • I had a Japanese flute player explain the meaning of this song to me in the 60s. It is not about the Japanese beef dish called sukiyaki. It was Capitol Records that gave Sukiyaki as the American title of this Japanese tune which is really about a broken-hearted man walking looking up at night so that his tears won't fall:

    I look up when I walk

    Counting the stars with tearful eyes

    Remembering those happy summer days

    But tonight I'm all alone.
