It's a shame you can swim up there any more.. Now we go to the Twin Bridges north of NEVADA CITY of RT 49.. Fucking awesome spot. Can't miss it. Parking's a bitch but hell of a hole. Hour and twenty minutes from RENO. Anyone know of a spot in the BLOOMFIELD ROAD before the twin bridges spot?? I hear of it but never been...
The locals are effin psycho. I was just there today and we got chased down by a grandmother for "trespassing" on their property. Check out the video... I'll post it in a few days. Hilarious stuff. Gorgeous area though.
@msldelatorre Ive been living back in New Zealand for the past 2 years so I havent been back to Yuba river since august 2008 but when we did we couldnt get up to the waterfalls as the locals were mining for gold with some loud machinery so all we got to do was swim around under the cliffs with the loud engines.

@Atrociteeshirts Thats Edwards Crossing, pretty good spot but the best spot is a bit south of that. purdon, down Lake Vera Rd.

about a mile or so from the bridge at Washington, CA; you will need to walk up the river from the bridge as they have closed off the parking access.
There is a bunch of cliffs people jump off into the river but walk past them for about .3 of a mile and you will come to the base of the falls.

I asked if they were around Washington and you said "nope", I thought I recognized those falls. I'm in Grass Valley.
