the problem is there is no god, so we can't depend on him for help we have to help ourselves. all the time spent praying is just time wasted! what ever created us would be our god right? well what if what made us was the result of some energy force in space kinda like an electric current, well that would be our god right and thats not the same as some guy with a white flowing beard watching over us all. nice song though...
I'm an atheist as well so no argument there. The point of the song is IF there is an almighty God he's doing a horrible job! I'm mostly thinking of tsunamis, diseases etc. things humanity can't do anything about and also, since no God seems to be around, how can anyone in their right mind claim not only that one exists and is almighty, but also good?
If God does exist, I hope his mother tells him off! Until then, we'll just have to look out for each other!
