The only bosses I died on in this game, was Lava Piranha and Huff N. Puff.

I could've beaten Lava Piranha in the first try if I used Sushie and not Watt, and I did a huge mistake on Huff N. Puff since I didn't know that he could protect himself from Thunder Rage...

I did beat the Crystal King in the first try even though he healed himself once.

When i first fought this guy it was kinda easy but man the boss music ROCKED!!! I'd stick around to listen to it :P and swigg if you have flower saver its easier to use Mega jump does about 10-13 damage if you use s jump charge and you can mess up with power bounce and it gets weaker as you keep going i went with Mega quake and Mega jump

Hmm, true, but I think the reason people prefer TTYD over the first Paper Mario is the fact that there are alot of extra RPG elements in it.

I for one, prefer the first Paper Mario over the other two.

However, I like TTYD about just as much, because of things like the bigger variety of badges (more RPG elements)

You can do this boss so easily, without taking any damage at all. Just use electro shock or whatever it is, to paralyze crystal king for 2 turns. then jump on him, and use watts first attack. i did it with both power plus badges and p-up/d-down and it took me only a few minutes. if this ones stressing you out i suggest trying this method. When he's paralyzed he cant do any magic, and when he's paralyzed his ice lads turn to stone and die.

Here's a tip: The "Feeling Fine" badge makes this battle much easier. (he cannot freeze you when it is on)

this guy was way easy. sure him making copies of himself made it hard to know where he was but my strategy was: Laklista (or whatever his name was) because he has 3 abilities that helps a lot during this battle: 1: Spike toss (sorry if its wrong) which if aimed correctly does damage. of course where the cursor is. 2: Cloud 9: Protects Mario sometimes which believe me it helps. 3: the multi-spike throwing 1: that 1 helps when all the crystals are out. of course you can use star storm.

Seriously? He wasn't really that hard for me. Maybe cuz my friend gave me tips (Cill out, chill out, chill out) and he didn't use the freezing move that much. The hardest boss for me was the lava piranha. I mean seriously. Its basically 80 hp and the second incarnation has horribly powerful moves that I had to re-try him like six times before I finally won. And don't forget that it's BEFORE the crystal king so generally speaking you have more time to level up.

All you had to do was bring as many Snowman Dolls as you could when he upgrades to Firey Lava Piranha. And then, use as many attacks as you can. The hardest boss for me was General Guy (don't know why...it took me a couple of trys to get him).

Just press A when you get hit. I had a Defend Plus badge, so I was able to reduce damage with that.
