  • Lawls great intro

  • wait... so you don't have to put power on both cards?

  • @FlossBandit yes you do

  • @FlossBandit they only showed them plugging in one, but they said fill all available slots

  • hilarious intro!

  • so ur saying i have to have evga sli ready motherboard for this to work?

  • @gangsterpimp69 they say EVGA SLI ready, but any SLI motherboard will do. they just say evga to promote their products

  • @xxDiscoBiscuitsxx ok lol thank u

  • do sli ready gpu's come with the special bridge to connect them together? PLEASE ANSWER

  • @MrShmango01

The SLI bridge usually comes with the motherboard.

  • will 2 GTX 550 Ti work with sli ? and also do you need to have a EVGA motherboard or can I just have a ASUS P8P67 motherboard instead ?

  • @ImakeBabiesPoop They will work just fine on your mobo.

  • the GPUs dont come with the SLI bridge....the motherboards are suppose to

  • Do you plug both cards in or just one???????

  • when i got my first evga 560ti im not sure if it came with an sli bridge, cause i think i was it, but i might have lost it. Does anyone know if the evga 560ti comes with an sli bridge?

  • @SneakyPoopNinja45

it usually comes with the motherboard

  • @SneakyPoopNinja45 I got two and neither came with an SLI bridge. My motherboard did, though, so it wasn't too much of an issue.

  • i have a gtx 570 classified hd, and i bought another gtx 570 classified but this one doesnt say hd, can i do sli ? is there any differences between those two, am i going to have problems :S can somebody tell me tks

  • Hmm. I'm planning on getting to GTX 560s and don't have a clue this made it so easy.. Just install the cards and then drivers.. Follow the onscreen instructions and there you go. there isn't a SLI specific driver is there? I had to install one when I was doing CrossfireX with my 5970s.

  • I have a doubt, after installing physical hardware in to the mobo, i which hdmi / dvi port do i need to,plug in my monitor, ( i mean in slimthere are two cards and two of each hdmi and dvi port, which one should i usewhere do I plug my HDMI cable whi

  • it would be awesome to SLI NVDIA with ATI HD

  • @DainnCrowley2000 No... It'd be a horrible mess of incompatibility. Give it a go. See how far you get.

  • tnx

  • HEY THATS AN APPLE IN THE BACKGROUND, DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!

  • if you can afford SLI and think tape works

    you need a slap.

  • I'm running 2 gtx 560 ti but can't get SLI on, i've gone to the Nvidia control panel and the option is just not there!!!

The only option is for physx, my computer completely recognizes both cards but won't let me SLI them and i know that the motherboard is SLI compatible.

Also yes i have all the latest drivers...

    WTF??? help please?

  • @BretStroup u have all the latest drivers?

  • @boertje33 Yes i do, i finally got it to work it was something wrong with the program or something because i had to manually go into the registry settings and turn "coolbits" on...

There's a ton of people having this problem and I only saw the answer on ONE forum so the news isn't spreading on how to fix it >:(

  • @BretStroup i just have the same setup dual GTX 560 ti i also did not have te option when i updated the drivers i had but glad u got it up and running :D

  • Do you need a EVGA Motherboard or can you use an ASUS?

  • OH NO ! My Asus Mobo wont work with my GPUS cause its not EVGA! :O....:P

  • ??? SCOTCH TAPE??? Duuuude... EVERYONE knows... DUCT TAPE!

  • Yes, it matters. They need to be the same model.

  • Does it matter if the graphics cards are two different models (like a 460 and a 480)?

  • @SpeedDemon14pwndyou Yep, you HAVE to get two the same.

  • LOL WIN he is using a Mac

  • hey guys!!! i have a Gainward 580 3 gb. and a Evga 580 1.5 gb. Why wont the SLI option dont show up in the Nvidia control panel?? please help?

  • @breakethebeat

Nvidia cards with different amounts of memory don't tend to work together in SLI even if they are the same GPU

  • @MontyTFox

    coolbits lr2gpu

  • seriosly 2 470's and an adittional 240 not conected ???

  • i don`t think the gt240 boost the overall performance it`s slows down the system...

  • So does the second card need to have power connectors? Or do you just put it in the slot and connect the SLI bridge?

  • @cnoga4217 If only LOL, nah u need to connect the power cables to the second card or it won't run.

  • @Schullo423 nope, just only the same GPU on like a GTX 470 GPU, but that can be EVGA or a MSI togheter :)

  • At 2 470's, that will pack some heat.

  • iloveyou

  • sooo, i have 2 evga geforce gtx 550 ti cards with a 800psu. Psu good enoguh for this?

  • @MrGhostphone lol, u can use a 600w

  • @1337manne My system needs a 800watt to run it... lol just adding another gtx 550 ti and was wonder if I need to get a 1000watt psu.

  • @MrGhostphone 800 / 1000w PSU??? dude if you need a 800w psu then your pc must be something silly powerful like 4 gfx cards, twin cpu mobo and watercooling running from it...

there is no way your pc will need 800w psu

  • @MrGhostphone yepp, its spot on to run it mate

  • How do you put a phsyx card? is it the same as putting the other cards?

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... yes but dont connect it with the other cards with the sli bridge.

  • @FsimulatorX

yes you put it then go to nvidia control panel then go to the Physx tab and then you can select the card

you want as a dedicated Physx card

  • any sli motherboard will do, they just want to sell u EVGA stuff.

  • u need an EVGA... lol , i stopped to watch it when they started to adv.

  • where do you get the sly bridge?

  • @rocklebest Normally comes with the Motherboard.

  • "physex" lmao

  • CAN U PUT 580 & 260 ON 790I FTW BOARD TOGETHER?

  • @dodoslovensko No you need identical GPUs. 580 + 580 or 260 + 260.

  • How did the two EVGA GTX 470 transform to two GTX 480 in the Nvidia control panel?

  • @blajsad magicly.. :D

  • Do you have to have two of the same graphics card? Both from the same company.

  • @boredozzy No, but for better performance it's recommended.

  • @boredozzy I don't think you HAVE to but it's smarter, a LOT smarter, to have identical cards.

  • @nicholson313 yes u can just go into nvidia control panel, it's pretty straight forward

  • Hey

    If I have two 580's

Can I disable one when I dont need SLI

  • If you have 2 460 gtx's and a sandy bridge i5 2500k, where should i run the. Physx on?

The cpu is pretty good but maybe graphics card is better. But if i choose physx to run on the graphics card i guess you will get lower fps??

  • pick up the phone chloe!

  • NO NO YOUR DOING IT ALL WRONG!!! UR USING THE WRONG SORT OF TAPE!!!!

  • i got a problem with my Windows 7 and the Control panel!

wen i try to open, the nvidia CP freeze! can someone help me?

    PLEASE

    i have a GTX 275 SLI

i want to Enable the SLI!

  • do i reAlly need an evga motherboard or any sli motherboard ?

  • wait so you can sli with 2 (same)cards, and add a 3rd different card but have that one dedicated to only physx ??

  • i have a gtx 260 and a gt 220! i want the gt220 to run dedicated phsx! will i need an sli bridge?

  • @megacomrade No, just set it to do Phsx in the Nvidia control panel

  • @MrBojax how bout radeon 4870 w\ gt220 as physx! does that work?

  • @megacomrade Don't think it will mate as ATI don't support Physx and both cards still need to work with each other. Not 100% certain but I doubt it.

  • Would I have to download any drivers for dedicated physx card???

  • Never try to sli 2 different cards together, example. 9800 and a 8600 gt. Just make sure they are both the same clock reference to avoid problems. Different brand names should be ok, i just always make sure the clock speeds are the same.

  • quick question, right now i have a MSI GTX460 and im about to buy a 680! motherboard for sli, is it possible to SLI two different cards? say a GTX460 and a 9500GT or would i have to buy a second GTX460?

  • @MrTNJFILMS im pretty sre u need the same card, srry

  • 0:10 look at the background poster, BATTLEFIELD 2142!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!! :D

  • EVGA

The only company that can make JOKES.

I hate how nowdays every company is siruas as SHIT.

  • This Graphics card requieres 600 Watt Powersupply.

Say if I use SLI will I have to buy a 1200 WaTt PSU?

  • @Charliescene93 no youll need around 750 depending on what card you have. most recommend 750-800 for sli and 1000 for tri, depending on the cards.

  • @Charliescene93 usualy to add another card, you add 300-400w to you psu

  • OK, EVGA, can u give some money for that? No? So FUCK OFF u shitty bastards!!!!!

  • one quick question. I am currently trying to set up a dedicated physx card and my GPU is a EVGA GTX 460 and I want to use my old Geforce 9500 GT as the physx card. The problem I am having is when I install the 9500 my computer screen goes blank and I can't do anything. Anyone have a clue as to what it could be?

  • @alalange maybe a stupid question but: do you have it connected properly? all new drivers installed? make sure of that first

  • @metroid1122

yes It is installed correctly. I only have the gtx 460 driver installed. do I have to have both? can I install do different drivers without affecting the 460? (this is probably a stupid question lol)

oh I forgot to mention that if I have both cards in I can only get signal form the 9500

  • @alalange have you tried to disconnect the 460 and use only the 9500? maybe its a faulty card or pci express slot

  • @metroid1122

the 9500 works Fine I am currently using it on another computer and the pci slots work fine

  • @alalange then maybe is a compatibility problem between the drivers and using these both cards as one for games and the other for physx

  • @metroid1122

yeah probably and I think it my be my mobo too.

  • look a Free Masonic ! ! !

  • @GICTechTV

Nice catch, I just loathe their stupid hats and occult rituals.

  • Comment removed

  • yes, But will it Blend?

  • I still don't know why the dualslot graphics cards havent got that much room to suck air into the fan, there's approx 2 mm to suck air into the fan, wouldn't the top card become hot?

  • @CDA441 it always happens, then other cooling solutions must be found such as watercooling to cool the top card

  • if you cant figure this out why did you buy this equipment in the first place, and who read the packaging to you

  • jAkUp you sound so sensual. :p

    :rofl

  • hi guys i really need an answer as quickly as possible

can i run 2 gtx 460 768mb in sli with an i7 950 on an evga x58 sli 3 mobo with 6gigs of

ram and the other usual stuff with a 700w ocz modxstream pro psu

  • @JoDaddyy i see cause i rather get a single card but the 580 is currently too expensive :( im gonna get the card by the end of this year or february next year so hopefully things will work out by then, or i might even get a single 480 despite its *problems*

  • @JoDaddyy hahahha yeah i guess i kinda do :P but im considering getting a single card at the moment. maybe 480 or if even possible... a 580

  • im planning to get 2 gtx 470's to go with my rig , should i keep my old 9800 gtx+ and use it for dedicated physx ? or just use my 2 470s ?

  • oh shit like this serious ooh i see blood flowing from his mouth someone call geek squad

  • You add another PhysX card to take the load off your other cards, so you can get better frames, and settings, and take the PhysX load and put it on a gt 240 or 9800 or whatever you have. And yes, most cards DO have them integrated your going to get better performance when upgrading video cards, to use your old one for PhysX rather than just going 1 card alone.

Lol at the tape that "bundled" his set-up together. Thats something I would do at 13, or drunk. And whats with the stapler?!? Bad News!

  • why add a physx card when the 470 is already Physx

  • come at me bro

  • do i have to use evga?

  • @mit871chell no, they just say that to make them buy the product

  • PLEASE STOP THE GAY ACTING, thats done in hollywood. Moreover, why would u intall a physx card? isnt it included in the GPU? Rather then wasting time on HOrrfic acting, use it on demonstrations and explinations

  • woooooooooooooooow ,i did not know that

  • The intro made me laugh. SO HARD 8D

  • I wish I could throw 1200 dollars worth of video cards around like they were nothing too!!!

  • 0:08 to 0:25 FAIL!!!

  • I always get PC assembly, its mean if they fuck up, I can send it back.

  • Hey guys, does any know how many WATT PSU would I need to run GTX 470 SLi + GTX 280 as PhysX dedicated and I7 930 ? I am thinking about this RIG right now.

  • @JackTorranceReDruM a good 700W should do it, go with more if you wanna be safe

  • @bempa93 Thanx for reply.

  • Something 850-1000w, especially if you are thinking about overclocking. I don't think 700 is enough. 470s are pretty power hungry, as is the 280. It MIGHT be enough, but it would take up all the PSUs resources, and you do not want to run a power supply at 100% load.

  • @Jak3Mac Thanx for reply and advice man.

  • why does he clicks on the gtx 480(2) instead of the gt240? lol why does the gt240 dosnt show up there?

  • It was a different system probably. I guess you didnt notice, but he installed two GTX470s at the beginning of the video.

  • I was thinking if you can run SLI & PhysX on other motherboards like Asus P55 or X58 chipset. I mean the high end motherboards

  • LOL wasted GOOGLE server space..

  • hahaha I love agent Tiny

  • Ironic that his computer is a mac?

  • When is the ETA for the classified 3?

  • Boo, this is boring! [just kidding, but I already know how to do this]

Now next up should be: How to perform an SLI Hack on an ATI Crossfire board.

  • @soma1509 it was quite fun actually. asus P5N pro turbo . running 2 465s

  • Agent tiny is fkin funny but that guys voice is horrible

  • You don't deserve to use this equipment if you can't do this simple task... /rant

  • @Ipodzanyman yeah uhhh not really.. Millions of people don't even know how to install a graphics card much less set up an SLI configuration. Based on your comment I can tell that you have no real experience in the IT field, which is what PC building fits in too. Please stop leaving stupid uneducated comments on Youtube because it makes you look like a fucking retard. Thanks.

  • @furiousaaron I'm upset with the number of people who just waste so much money on technologies such as this and don't do *ANY* background research. Stop bloody judging what I know based on one comment I posted four months ago... This is a meager task compared to building a stable configuration... I just thought a video explaining this was a bit drastic. It's literally a few clicks. Are you serious about "millions" of people that don't know how to install a graphics card? It's not complicated. :|

  • Leave him alone, yeah many people don't know anything about computers BUT, what's the point? it's soo simple! i'm not a nerd and i've done my first sli setup with an age of 13. Place 2 cards together on a motherboard into the only slots the cards could fit into.. same as every connector in pc history.. there is no wrong connection if you buy parts, you only need to stick the same colors or forms together.. THAT'S IT.. and if that's to hard for people...

  • @Ipodzanyman i agree

  • @Ipodzanyman Screw you

  • @kchaney56 hahahaha

  • cant wait to get an SLI/or maybe a physX setup depending on what comes out later this year

  • Why does the voiceover sound like the guy from OwnagePranks? #LOL

  • OMG JACOB @ 0:27!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • make sure that you fill up all available ports .... Thats what she said

  • make sure that you fill up all available ports... Thats what she said

  • Also: lol at his water cooling: a water bottle with intel on it.

  • @Oreomeister yeah that water cooling is epic... gotta try that out ;) ...

mooom... my cpu is cooking! :-( ...

  • E770? That the classified 3? With usb 3 and sata 6?

  • LMAO AT THE HAT! HAHAHAHA SO FUCKING FUNNY

  • Cool, but I bought gigabyte

  • now i can see a good hd quality video !

    thanx

  • Oh cmon, i wanna see some extreme shit

  • you dont need anything EVGA to do sli

  • Would an evga card (in this case a GTX 260) work with a different branded card (also a GTX 260 but by a different company) still work in sli?

  • @Stealthboy990 yup, as long as its same model, it doesnt matter what brand

  • @Stealthboy990, yes, it must be the same GPU to be in SLI, so any brand supported. Like if you're having one EVGA GTX 260, and a MSI one(for example), they will work together, it's the GPU that's need to be the same. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong about this statement.

  • @Mibmu Thats what I had thought thank you very much, one GPU is over clocked would that possibly make a difference?

  • Comment removed

  • @Mibmu Actually, you can have a GTX480 SLI with a GTX 260. Any 2 cards are compatible as long as they are SLI Ready and Nvidia cards.

  • @HazMattFilms Wrong.

  • @HondaRider9Bryan Oh thanks man, now I may invest in a better card rather then another GTX 260!

  • @Stealthboy990 Not a problem man. I use ATI, but I have history with Nvidia so I know a ton about it. If you have anymore questions. Just message me.

  • If you don´t know how to set up sli you better get another system ;)

  • THE QUALITY OF THIS VID IS VERY BAD DUDE!

  • @ZIROBYTE actuaöy its HD it was low cause this was jsut uploaded, now its HD
