when i got my first evga 560ti im not sure if it came with an sli bridge, cause i think i was it, but i might have lost it. Does anyone know if the evga 560ti comes with an sli bridge?
i have a gtx 570 classified hd, and i bought another gtx 570 classified but this one doesnt say hd, can i do sli ? is there any differences between those two, am i going to have problems :S can somebody tell me tks
Hmm. I'm planning on getting to GTX 560s and don't have a clue this made it so easy.. Just install the cards and then drivers.. Follow the onscreen instructions and there you go. there isn't a SLI specific driver is there? I had to install one when I was doing CrossfireX with my 5970s.
I have a doubt, after installing physical hardware in to the mobo, i which hdmi / dvi port do i need to,plug in my monitor, ( i mean in slimthere are two cards and two of each hdmi and dvi port, which one should i usewhere do I plug my HDMI cable whi
I'm running 2 gtx 560 ti but can't get SLI on, i've gone to the Nvidia control panel and the option is just not there!!!
The only option is for physx, my computer completely recognizes both cards but won't let me SLI them and i know that the motherboard is SLI compatible.
@boertje33 Yes i do, i finally got it to work it was something wrong with the program or something because i had to manually go into the registry settings and turn "coolbits" on...
There's a ton of people having this problem and I only saw the answer on ONE forum so the news isn't spreading on how to fix it >:(
@BretStroup i just have the same setup dual GTX 560 ti i also did not have te option when i updated the drivers i had but glad u got it up and running :D
@MrGhostphone 800 / 1000w PSU??? dude if you need a 800w psu then your pc must be something silly powerful like 4 gfx cards, twin cpu mobo and watercooling running from it...
Never try to sli 2 different cards together, example. 9800 and a 8600 gt. Just make sure they are both the same clock reference to avoid problems. Different brand names should be ok, i just always make sure the clock speeds are the same.
quick question, right now i have a MSI GTX460 and im about to buy a 680! motherboard for sli, is it possible to SLI two different cards? say a GTX460 and a 9500GT or would i have to buy a second GTX460?
one quick question. I am currently trying to set up a dedicated physx card and my GPU is a EVGA GTX 460 and I want to use my old Geforce 9500 GT as the physx card. The problem I am having is when I install the 9500 my computer screen goes blank and I can't do anything. Anyone have a clue as to what it could be?
yes It is installed correctly. I only have the gtx 460 driver installed. do I have to have both? can I install do different drivers without affecting the 460? (this is probably a stupid question lol)
oh I forgot to mention that if I have both cards in I can only get signal form the 9500
I still don't know why the dualslot graphics cards havent got that much room to suck air into the fan, there's approx 2 mm to suck air into the fan, wouldn't the top card become hot?
@JoDaddyy i see cause i rather get a single card but the 580 is currently too expensive :( im gonna get the card by the end of this year or february next year so hopefully things will work out by then, or i might even get a single 480 despite its *problems*
You add another PhysX card to take the load off your other cards, so you can get better frames, and settings, and take the PhysX load and put it on a gt 240 or 9800 or whatever you have. Leave him alone, yeah many people don't know anything about computers BUT, what's the point? it's soo simple! i'm not a nerd and i've done my first sli setup with an age of 13. Place 2 cards together on a motherboard into the only slots the cards could fit into.. same as every connector in pc history.. there is no wrong connection if you buy parts, you only need to stick the same colors or forms together.. THAT'S IT.. and if that's to hard for people...
@Stealthboy990, yes, it must be the same GPU to be in SLI, so any brand supported. Like if you're having one EVGA GTX 260, and a MSI one(for example), they will work together, it's the GPU that's need to be the same. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong about this statement.

@Stealthboy990 yup, as long as its same model, it doesnt matter what brand
mikey9890 1 year ago
@Stealthboy990, yes, it must be the same GPU to be in SLI, so any brand supported. Like if you're having one EVGA GTX 260, and a MSI one(for example), they will work together, it's the GPU that's need to be the same. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong about this statement.

@Mibmu Thats what I had thought thank you very much, one GPU is over clocked would that possibly make a difference?

@Mibmu Actually, you can have a GTX480 SLI with a GTX 260. Any 2 cards are compatible as long as they are SLI Ready and Nvidia cards.

@HondaRider9Bryan Oh thanks man, now I may invest in a better card rather then another GTX 260!

@Stealthboy990 Not a problem man. I use ATI, but I have history with Nvidia so I know a ton about it. If you have anymore questions. Just message me.
