  • Thank you Matt. This was really useful.

  • is that a wellington 3.0?

  • What kind of grease? And where can I get this grease

  • Is there a video that shows the assembly and adjustment of the derailleurs?

This video starts with the rear derailleur and wheel already attached but that was it the case with my motobecane bike

  • someone make an autotune song with this guy LOL

  • Are there instructions with the bike?

  • never a good idea to grease pedal threads unless you like them backing out

  • 2:37, did he just say "just go ahead and get greasy"? I love this dude. Give it the SHOCKER!!!!

  • Nice work~and thank you!

  • v. annoying accent

  • Just bought My Fixie !!

  • why dont those screws do anything for me?, i tighten them all the way an nothing still rubs against the front derailer. the back one works fine but the front wont go up to 2 or 3. the gear turn for 3 is incredibly stiff. Gear one for the front derailer works fine apart from when the back gears got above 4 then it starts to rub on the front drailer.

'Ive tryed everything..lossing/inc tension. The hi and lo which seem to do nothing and the positioning of the derailer.

    any help?

  • Cesur - Shift Guide - Gerade Kettenlinie -

  • This video is GOLD. Too bad I just kinda put random shit together and now my bike feels like crap. I'm going to start over and do it right this time.

  • im glad i bought a fixed gear it alot easer to put together.

  • haha "this nut goes in the rear." thats what she said xD

  • rofl

  • thumbs up for tht 1 lol

  • thank you

  • As for putting on the skewer, you really should have mentioned which way to put the spring, since from one side its smaller and gets bigger. The small side should be pointing at the quick release nob and the big side should be pointing towards the wheel. Without this right, the spring won't be pressing right on the bolt.

  • ummm.... there are two springs - the smaller part of each spring should be closer to the wheel itself, the larger part touching the nut...

  • Wouldn't it be smarter to put the tire on before putting the brake caliper on? That way you'd have it perfectly aligned.

  • So Windsors are good bikes? I'm thinking about buying one.

  • they are a bit cheesy. but you can buy one like i did and slowly replace the part with better quality parts. i was pleased with it however

  • Helpful, however, my instructions on the quick release hub made a special point that you should "Never fasten a wheel to a frame by rotating the quick release lever"! They want you to use the other end when initially fastening, and then using the quick release to tighten...not sure if that's a big deal. All in all, it was real easy to assemble my first time, before I watched the video.

  • Good Demo. Thanks man. Who's your camera man though?... Fire him and get a guy with a steady cam.

  • road weenies

  • Thanks. I was able to assemble my new bike by watching this clip. I saved $65.00.

  • When using an adjustable wrench, alway make sure the bottom jaw is forward of your rotation. If you ever have to exert allot of torque you will understand why. (pay attention Matt);)

  • i don't need this but i whatched it any way thanks. knowledge is power.

  • What's the info on the DVD he is talking about?

  • "the bolt goes through the tube and the nut goes through the rear..." hahaha

  • Your right. Assembling could be tricky, still I wonder how easy it is to repair a bike. He has no DVD on that.

  • dont you think you should know what you're doing before you tell other people how to do it!!!

ps you didnt lube the stem and you usually tighten the bottom bolt on the stem FIRST

  • Your right too. Assebling is not that hard, just tricky. Still he keeps saying it's on the DVD ... interesting.

  • On the DVD is "how to fix all the stuff that is screwed up because you assembled the bike using this video".

Really, it's not that difficult. I've been tearing down bikes and rebuilding since I was 14.

  • Thanks guys , great vid, verry usefull!

  • He is not saying how tricky it is. I guess he forgot.

  • How tricky is it... oh wait its not.
