@numenstiles I am using two 8" 80-watt speakers for the tube (IIRC)... more power will give them more muscle, so you should be able to get larger changes in gas pressure; but may also require more propane flow to compensate.
you used to much gas... the flames were to big and to random to give a nice visual of the sound waves. I mean it looked kinda cool cause the flames were huge but it looks way better when you have great deffinition of the sound wave. but great job on the build =D
Yup, I've run this with all kinds of gas levels and the lower gas flow does give more dynamic results. Sometimes, though, it's hard to resist the giant flames...
Kickass! I love Rubens tubes and I like the music.
You should build a HUGE ONE, and then use the same amount of gas as you used on that one, to get a bigger wave effect. I would do it, but I'm a lazy fucker lolz
It was outside in the driveway; we are looking in to the garage from outside. I'm more worried about the bush that stands just off-frame to the right...
What is the name of the song they used for Ruben's? I really like it!

@DGonzalez0411 It was a custom composition done specifically for the tubes, by a friend of mine...

I think the bigger flames give a better effect
. Did you say double feed of gas and speakers ?
Any suggestions on speakers wattage type etc.?

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

The motion aliasing inherent in the compression and video process makes it a touch harder to see the fire/music synchronization; it's better live!
