Anybody else out there find it scary when churches are telling their people how to vote? It isn't just the whacked-out Catholics either. Wish they would kick that damn Roe vs. Wade right out of the supreme court and throw it to the state level. Wonder then what the next platform would be to huddle around. What if both candidates were pro-life or pro-choice? Why were there no protests for the many children who were psychologically murdered by priests via molestation/rape? grrr
we r all a sinner,i admit it, well, nobody perfect!! ..evrybody againsts abortion rite?..so, avoid sex b4 marriage then!.. obey no.6 God's commandment...mostly thats rule human in world did it..
Just a thought...this video woud be even better if the strands of images wove together like the double helix of DNA and then zoomed out (conception) and stages 2 a newborn
Firstly people we are all sinners! No one, I repeat no one is perfect and we all live with sin, so yes abortion is a sin, howwever we can all beforgiven for this as so can any other human with any sin. I feel that people are taking this way out of hand, why I believe that abortion is wrong in any form or way I would never go as low as to say that Jews are evil or point the finger at anyone
The reason this innocent ad cannot be put on TV is because the Jews control the media. The Jews are evil! They are the ones behind the millions of babies killed each year, the porn industry, the trash from Jewish Hollywood. An innocent ad like this controlled by the Jews. Go back into history and understand why the German people killed 6 Million of them. You know that they did but you don't know the reasons why do you?
i do not believe it is appropriate to say "the jews are evil" here. please do not attack other faiths here, as it is not a christian way to act. the "jews" were not at fault for this video being refused by the television companies
We're all pretty agnostic now. And we're all pretty tired of organizations lobbying for thier own agendas using prothelityzing, guilt, and faux morality to put money and power in thier coffers.
And make no mistake, it's a lobby. Exclusionism is bad. And sad. And for cowards.
Jesus embraced lepers. You can't even embrace at all.
The 'oldest profession' isn't whore-it's Shaman. The first guy who didnt want to work, but talk!
I'm tired of listening to these religious leaders on their pick and choose topics (like abortion) to persuade the flock on how to vote or think....what about giving to the poor? war crimes? loving the sinner? corporate greed?...I could go on....
You are correct. The Bible says blessed are the peacemakers, not the warmongers. It also demands that people work to end injustice and to help the poor. If Catholics are going to be faithful to the Church & the Bible's teachings, we need to vote for those candidates who make these issues their top priority.

I was raised Catholic. I went to Catholic school, attended Mass nearly every day of the week for most of my childhood. Was made to feel tremendous guilt over things like eating a ot dog on Friday. Where was the guilt when Father John Quinn (St. Bernadette's, KCMO) was molesting the altar boys? He NEVER was held accountable, NEVER!!!!! I don't hate Catholics but I HATE the Catholic Church.
Well the problem is that Catholics ARE the Catholic Church... besides, if you hate anybody, it's clear your upbringing wasn't all that Catholic at all.
Abortion is genocide and infanticide. It's the slaughter of the Innocents all over again.
Mt 2:16 "Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men."
Take care my brother in Christ. (or is it sister?)
Harry Reid is a hateful embarrassment to the LDS Faith. Harry Reid is the most partisan, hateful, sleazy Mormon politician in recent memory. I wouldn't promote Harry Reid if I were you. Look to someone with morals, like Jason Chaffetz. Now that's a Latter-day Saint worth praising!
documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion
National Right to Life strongly endorses McCain for President

This video is designed to scare people into voting based solely upon the abortion issue. You can be against abortion, and work to help people choose life and STILL vote to allow others' their right to choose. You are not voting to kill babies by not choosing McCain. Don't be fooled by this scare tactic. Vote for OBAMA. He's compassionate and cares about the less fortunate, and he'll work with other world leaders to help far more people.

I personally believe that JFK would be angry that his image is being used to promote this. He would vote for Obama since he actually wants to help those with less money. He wants the less fortunate to have health care. He also will work together with other nations to find peace. I personally am against abortion, but if someone wants to have an abortion they will, one way or another. I believe in each individual's right to choose. Vote for OBAMA.

...If you want a true political leader in Washington, someone who will face the modern world's challenges without relying on failed policies and values of the past, vote Obama/Biden in November.
p.s. i propose a constitutional amendment banning Sarah Palin from leaving Alaska, where she would cause the least amount of damage to the United States of America.

Yes! Let us all vote McCain/Palin and keep God in the White House. He will bless our great nation with another four years of faithful leaders, and His grace will guide us through the tough times of today. God bless you! God bless McCain! God bless Palin! God bless America!!! *cough*gag*finger in mouth and throw up on myself* if you vote for someone solely because he's fucking catholic/christian/god-fearing/whatever, you are a fucking moron. keep religion in church and out of the election...
Actually, that is not true. The Church position is that one cannot morally vote for a pro-abortion candidate BECAUSE of their stand on abortion. If, after considering the available candidates, the pro-abortion candidate is the best overall, one can vote for them IN SPITE OF their stand on abortion. Personally, I would find it very difficult to vote for someone who was pro-abortion, but the Church does not consider the vote a sin in itself.
i do not understand how voting for a pro-abortion candidate is a sin at all. after all, that is like saying the doctor who performs the abortion is a sinner, and that his boss is a sinner for paying him to do it, and the people who make the machines and drugs with which the abortion is performed are sinners and the list goes on and on. How am I a sinner for supporting abortion even though I have never personally performed or had an abortion done?
Is owning a slave a sin? Is the person who trades the slaves a sinner? Is the slave trader's boss a sinner? Am I a sinner if I vote for a candidate who supports slavery even though I have never owned a slave?
the doctor who performs the abortion is a sinner. the doctors boss who tells him to perform the abortion is a sinner as well. fallowing orders does not excuse you from what you did. every person is responsible for their own actions. to support an evil act such as abortion is just as wrong a going through an abortion. are you saying that only women who get the abortion are sinners? abortion is wrong = no matter what.

Yeah I agree, it's sad that it's sad that the rest of Christianity has dropped the ball on this issue.
And as much as I disagree with the catholic church on a lot of things this is definitely one thing I agree with...
