So true. People complain that animals are killed cruelly even though they are the ones eating them. Doesn't matter if the fish is scaled alive or suffocated to death, you're still killing it and eating it.
damn it why the heck do they have to cut the poor blowfish from the snout...that would be painful and cruel. It is probably more for the decorative purposes or a special way to cut them in order to get the poison out *sigh*

why are people so unnecessarily petty? if fish can feel, then why do people fish for even sport. hooks into flesh are painful and often damaging. either way, if you eat another living thing, it will suffer either by suffocation or being cut up. it will suffer in some way by dying. fish are caught constantly and suffer all types of abuse like objects being thrown around, packed in salt or ice to freeze it or they just suffocate to death. only vegans have right to complain.
actually vegans are not the only people that have the "RIGHT' to complain like you say it is because not only are human beings are naturally omnivores, one doesn't have to STRICTLY be a vegan to feel compassion for animals. It is all in the way you kill the prey/meat before you eat it. It is only "suffer" if we are killing them in an unnecessarily cruel and torturous manner or driving them into extinction. I am not a vegetarian but I still wish factories and people can kill animals without pain.
I don't understand why they cut the fish while it's still alive...wouldn't the wriggling make it harder to cut?
