FONKÉ ! Nice playin', Dude !! What amp did you use ? I have a 79 Mark I Stage tied to a well worn-in 73 Twin Reverb and it bark quite well (though it's a preamp kit one with two Janus I for option). Greetings and keep that funk alive !
they could be billionaires if they made these again.fender could be one of the top music grrats today if they would! why did they stop making these no one can replicate the sound!
@salamonetalton they still do. They have a Mk VII out, but I doubt itll be made with the same care and attention to detail as these originals. Nothing like the real vintage keyboards, or Hammond organs for that matter. Nowadays its more about pleasing the accountants than pleasing the customer.
Of course, the "Fender Rhodes" badging disappeared after 1974 and became simply "Rhodes"; this was when CBS wanted to classify the Rhodes brand as its own line. 1975 and later pianos were badged as simply "Rhodes."
I have to stop watching these video's before I'm going to kill myself for not be able to play like that...

Zou je dat funky deuntje een keer van de bovenkant kunnen laten zien? op gehoor naspelen gaat zo moeilijk met deze qualiteit :)
Alvast bedankt

did you know you can harm this instrument if you pound the keys too hard? even one damaged key in 73 is too many.

Now THAT'S how you play a Fender Rhodes! That's a real beaut you have there, looks like it doesn't have a scratch on it. Lucky you!!!
