  • I might get casted to one of these type of shows, and I'm not encouraging anyone to learn to tattoo from absolutely no experience in two weeks. I'm a fairly skilled tattoo artist and I would love an opportunity to just go to a tattoo school and maybe learn a bit more about whatever I may not already know. I think it's kind of outrageous that everyone is getting so pissed off about this TV show, if you're a better tattoo artist than someone who learned in 2 weeks, you have nothing to worry about.

  • you cant tattoo in 2 weeks you cant learn what you need to know in 2 weeks ive been tattooing for 5yrs and if theres ever a time where i think theres nothing left to learn ill fucking QUIET your constantly learning new things and in two weeks you dont know shit takes years to figure out different things so fuck you lunatic channel billy your the man

  • ur right there aint noone that can learn to tattoo in 2 weeks ive been tattooing for a year and im apprenticing and there is so much shyt i still have to learn fuk tattoo shcoolll i hope u burnnn

  • Sign the Petition!! w w w . i p e t i t i o n s . c o m / p etition/boycotttattooschool/

  • apparently they don't like you to post links :( Oh well, i put spaces so it could be done... I'm not personally a tattooist, but have many friends and family in the industry, I'm disgusted that people would actually go along with this kind of thing!! Would you trust a nurse to draw your blood after a 2 week crash course? NO! Why? Because its dangerous and stupid... This is just like that.

  • I wish I leaned how to cut hair in two weeks... Damn it!

  • /watch?v=OCldolGa8I4

  • @jacob310jacob haahhaahahhahaaaa

  • I think the boycotting worked as far as keeping the show from becoming a series, well at least I hoped it did.

  • @Incaldwell if you know some I dont know send us a link

  • i went to look at one of their videos and the fucking guy in the chair is talking on a cell phone and then with the same hand grabs his sleeve next to the open skin as the fool with the machine and a crumpled up towel in his hand doesnt stop him just keeps going . i made a comment and was banned in less than 5 minutes ,

  • @TATTOOTRAINING at least you tried

  • my best friends are amazing tattoo artists, they are boycotting tattoo school. just know that Pennsylvania is pissed about it too. as well as cali. I've seen shitty inexperienced tattoos, and they become infected and blend into a large blackish blob on the skin and its ridiculous they're putting others at risk all for entertainment. its not just appalling, it could be lives at stake from blood poisoning! it makes people think anyone can do it. it takes skill, dedication and talent. not a tv show

  • People just want to think they're a fucking rockstar and do something as "COOL AND AWESOME" as tattooing, but not put in the heart, effort, and TIME it takes to do it RIGHT. It's funny, just a couple of minutes into watching this video I had someone call our shop asking if we sell "tattoo starter kits". I told him no and good luck with that shit. Oh, the poor unsuspecting victims he'll probably permanently botch thinking that he's such a damn good artist... Idiots.

  • PART 2 All because of those damn schools the employers would hire shop bitches who paid close to $60,000 for only 18 months of training in something that can take almost two decades to master, and even then you're still learning. Just like tattooing time, proper preparation, and repitition of good habits. I'm only two years in and I don't pretend to know shit about everything, let alone much of anything beyond the basics. Money grubbing whores are ruining everything I love, we love. assholes....

  • what the fuck! this is absolutely deplorable! Before I got my apprenticeship I was a special effects makeup artist. For almost ten years I studied.....since the time I was in grade school for christ's sake, learning, getting my shit picked apart on an artistic and technical level. Then they had schools for that come out to rape dumbasses with no talent out of money and screw me out of potential employment cause they will work for pennies. Basicly I had a career ruined because of that shit.

  • I wouldn't have someone with only a couple weeks of experience, well experience on tv, put ink on me.

  • @killermod0 exactly

  • I have a feeling that the only way to stop this stupid bitch is for the tattoo community in the states where these "schools" are is to go to the local health departments. Then convince someone that you need X amount of hours in an apprenticeship before you should be legally safe to tattoo living people. I hate that idea though because then the government is involved and they screw up just about everything they get their hands on. Fuck you TLC!!!!

  • This show is really bringing out the insecurities of tattooers.

  • @wrack71 I don't think it's insecurities as much as shock. You can't teach someone to tattoo in two weeks it's impossible. It's basically a scam and the woman in the show is only doing it for the money not the tattoo industry. Oh great a shit ton of more people think that they can tattoo but can't. Personally I'd rather not see the tattoo industry turn into Walmart or McDonald's.

  • @wrack71 Insecurities? Tch. Don't kid yourself.

  • Hey Billy, do you think there is any way to find out who this cunt buy's her supplies from? Maybe refuse to buy from any suppliers that sell to her. Tattooers could get together and black list her and any of her students.

  • @Incaldwell wow I like your style but I am sure she uses some shadey place like technical hahahahaah

  • I think it's time to let people know that when you apprentice it is about developing HABITS that are acceptable....not just learning a little theory

  • @TheArtisanRBenjamin you said it better than I could you nailed it man.... Thank you

  • don't say amurica don't... FUCK

  • @inivonwini not sure what that statement means hahahaha

  • ...Yep ........ "Cap" Colemen, Sailor Jerry, "DOC" Forbes, Bert Grim, Charlie Wagner, Paul Rogers, etc.....etc.... there should be a show on TLC about the "Four Fathers" of this craft ....something that showz people just how humble, respectful, classy, hardworking and passionate the people and the history that this craft comes from are...

  • ...then maybe ...just maybe ...people would have a little more respect towards tattooers and the craft that we live for.....It's a very traditional craft................Fuck um...I feel sorry for all those people who are cought up in the mainstream Lady GaGa bulshit that have no respect for the old time crafts... too bad for them....just keep being humble and true to the craft...the shit for brain wanna be posers will slowly die off...

  • So how would you start off ?

  • @craphead9ass First your handle on here is amazing.... I unfortunatel tried to teach myself very quickly (one tattoo in to it) found out that was a bad Idea and went and found an apprenticeship which 23 years ago was super hard compared to today as there simply were no shops but I found one finally went there every day for 2 months before he would apprentice me and from there it is history... Oh yeah I had to drive an hour both ways buy him two packs of camels and lunch everyday.

  • @craphead9ass PART 2 Had to deal with him selling illegal weapons, clean the 1% biker club house, ride a stolen motorcycle, fight people for his and the chapters amusement, wash and wax his caddy and Harley every week, pick weeds outa his garden, paint his house while he went on vacation.... The list of ridiculous shit goes on and on... Oh yeah and I paid him for his knowledge
