  • only just saw this video. looks yummy. i have one urgent question though. I have fish right now but i have no flour. What happens if i fry it without the flour? Do you have any suggestions because I won't get flour anytime soon. help!!

  • @nyboakye Thank you for watching my video. It looks yummy and tastes yummy too. My grand daughters love it too. Yes you can fry the fish without coating it with flour or bread crumbs. It will still be tasty, the only thing different will be that the fish will not have the uniform golden color which you see on the video.

  • Can I use bread crumbs instead of flour? Will it stick properly?

  • @17Other Yes you can use bread crumbs, but my suggestion would be to have very fine bread crumbs. Let me know the outcome? Mariette

  • @HowToExpo I used flour with the spices you mentioned, dipped it in in egg and then dipped it one last time in seasoned bread crumbs. It was amazing! Homemade garlic sauce.

    An explosion of flavors!

  • @HowToExpo Woulden't it be easier just to add all of those spices into the flour & mix it in then coat the fish with the flour,? before frying them.?

  • envy your grand daughter :)

  • I've done it and my family loved it!!!!

    thx :D

  • @gasb911 You're welcome. I am glad your family enjoyed the Easy Fish Fillet recipe. If you have youngsters at home you can cut the fish into 1 or 1 and 1/2 inch section and make fish sticks. My grand children love it fried that way. Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us.

  • i always wondered...what do you do with the oil that is left over from the frying?

  • @CHOOCHOOYO i Usually empty the oil used for frying fish in a container with a tight lid and dump it. But if you are using a lot of oil and you want to save it for another day, I suggest you let the oil to cool down completely then strain it making sure no fish particlesof are left in the oil. after you strain the oil clear store it in a container with a lid in a cool place. Use it in a week or so. I hope I helped.

    Mariette

  • Thanks for recipe

  • @iksahir You're welcome.

  • wow, i'll try this one later, its so easy to do but looks so yummy....

  • @Rommelstingray The Best easy fried fish fillet recipe is delicious. you can use any fish but if you're using thinner fish I suggest you season only one side of the fish fillet. Give this recipe a try and don't hesitate to ask any question you may have. I will be glad to help.

    Mariette

  • Cna you use pollock fillet and then amke it crispy using this method??

  • @xxx1ezzie1xxx Yes, any white fish fillet will do. One thing though if your fish is cut too thin, do not season both side, season only one side and stack it one on the top of the other, because it mightl be too salty and maybe too spicy. After you try the best easy fried fish fillet recipe let us hear about the results. we would love to hear from you.

    Mariette

  • @smartuy1 Tastes great too. It's so easy to prepare only minutes and the fish is ready to be fried. Give it a try and let me know how do you like it. I would love to hear from you.

  • what was that last stuff you used before the flower??

  • @peewee4z0 It's coriander powder. the coriander powder is the main ingredient of easy fried fish fillet. recipe. Coriander is the fruit (seeds) of the coriander plant. the fruits are generally referred to as coriander, the leaves as cilantro. You can find them sold almost anywhere. If you can't find coriander powder in the main stream grocery stores in your neighborhood, try ethnic stores. The coriander seeds are easily grounded in coffee grinder machine.

    Mariette

  • I plan to cook this from a big Mahi fillet this afternoon. I'll post again and let you know how it went...

  • what if i dont have that middle east seasoning will it still turn out good?

  • @leeland0123 All the seasonings are readily available at your local market.

Coriander comes in powder form and also in seeds. If you get the seeds you will need to grind it in a grinder. Cayenne pepper, or paprika. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

  • @HowToExpo thank you

  • holy shit i want one now

  • this is good dish i like it, but how can we do this in a healthier, like oil is not good for us, fry fish is not good for us can we just bake it? i know it woun't be as good as frying .any way its all good, thanks

  • I sometimes shallow fry the fish specially when it's not too thick. Baking is another alternative.

  • i just tryed it with mahi mahi and it was good
