    It is an old system. When the Amiga came out IBM computers only had 4 colors on screen at a time. The Amiga started with 4096 colors at once. Then went to millions.

  • Just think... full screen, full frame video on a stock Amiga 3000: ECS, 16 or 25Mhz Motorola 68000 CPU, and only 2mb of RAM. One word... AMAZING. I looooooooooove Amiga! =)

    you might wanna take a look at AROS - it just happens that currently someone is working on an AmigaVision-clone for AROS.

    (google for "aros" or "amiga aros" - should be the first result)
