It is wonderful how British singers are making a big impact in music as compared to the US versions from these types of shows.

They've changed the format after leona so that every winner gets a global contract with a top music label. And considering Simon's star power he has access to the top people in the business, as long as he calls the shots. American Idol doesn't have that advantage. You're on your own after you win that cause they don't get that much assistance from Simon.
