@RoseSunglasses you're absolutely right. i read, earlier today, that the episodes from the first season utilized what's known as retro-scripting. apparently retro-scripting is a writing technique in which the voice actors are given general scenarios, and are then supposed to improvise. and that's how the script is produced! pretty neat if you ask me :)
