The Bible does not condemn and condone polygamy for that will be contradicting. The authors of the Bible wrote about God's men who allowed themselves to be overcome by this sin of polygamy because of selfish motive. King Solomon and King David engage in polygamy due to selfish political purpose. Abraham engage in polygamy because his wife push him to have sexual intimacy with Hagar. Hmmm actually this system seems very practical if land is limited. If each man married his own wife, or multiple wives, the population would grow rapidly, and they soon would be starving or fighting over land. Theres a few cultures where there are like Group marriages (not exactly like a "swing club" but very similar to it).

The Bible does not condemn and condone polygamy for that will be contradicting. The authors of the Bible wrote about God's men who allowed themselves to be overcome by this sin of polygamy because of selfish motive. King Solomon and King David engage in polygamy due to selfish political purpose. Abraham engage in polygamy because his wife push him to have sexual intimacy with Hagar. Even King Henry the 8th used a contradiction between Leviticus and Deuteronomy as justification for divorcing Catherine of Aragon whilst pursuing a papal dispensation to do that. This was prior to the found of the church of England.

Choose which parts you wish to follow, but don't say that it doesn't condone polygamy. Almost every man in the Old Testament had multiple wives; God never seemed to have any problem with it. And a verse in a certain book of the New Testament say that no one should be married unless they have to. That's not promoting monogamy.

Hmmm actually this system seems very practical if land is limited. If each man married his own wife, or multiple wives, the population would grow rapidly, and they soon would be starving or fighting over land. With this system they all get to have a companion, make love, farm, have children and they don't have to worry about overpopulation b/c one woman can only have so many children, no matter how many husbands she has. :)

Polyandry, Polygymay, open marriages etc. exist in a number of cultures.
Theres a few cultures where there are like Group marriages (not exactly like a "swing club" but very similar to it).
The women would share several husbands and the men would share several wives in the household. But they are not allow to have any sexual relationships Outside of that household (it would be consider cheating).
Many unsual customs we have in this world huh?!

The women must have a very effective method of birth control, because in other cultures, a woman with just one husband might have 20 children, more or less, and these women seem to have small families.
