Thanks, Jason! (By the way, kenezaki took the words right out of my mouth: where's reliable hpeterswald?)
Hakuho can't be blamed for Asashoryu's (un)justly forced retirement, but, boy, how bored he must be when he troubles himself to look around the dohyo for some guys to 'really' play with. To annoy me even more, insufferable Kisenosato goes and breaks his streak.
I agree Jason. I think the nerves may have gotten to Toyonoshima. He still had a fantastic basho and look forward to see how he follows up this performance next basho. Good luck Toyonoshima. If anything, I think he has brought more attention to himself. Like I said before, before this basho I never really paid much attention to him until now. Also, what was wrong with that announcer guy? Kaio? Couldn't pronounce mawashi? LOL.
Thanks again, Jason! I appreciate your efforts in bringing us sumo and I really like hearing your commentary. This has been one of the most entertaining sumo tournaments I've seen in a long time.
Along with the others, I offer my sincerest gratitude to you for posting these terrific Sumo tournaments for us. I have enjoyed them immensely. I look forward to seeing you back here and hearing your wonderful commentary in January, Jason. Thanks again.
@JasonsinJapan Thanks for the videos! About hpeterswald...it says: "YouTube account hpeterswald has been terminated because we received multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement from claimants including: •NHK"
it's was really great that they didn't go after your vids. Thanks again!
that was a nice basho , surprising and intresting . I'm just a bit disappointed from the ozeki's performances , Harumafuji and Kotooshu were not in a good shape, but i liked the way Toyonoshima fought. As always, thanks a lot Jason!
thank you jason

indeed, thank you very much. Really awesome that you keep posting the videos.
It's still hard to see who can beat Hakuho for the cup, the other Ozeki just don't seem like they can ever reach that next level right now.

Thanks for all your effort this month. It's been great.
I felt so sorry for Hakuho not breaking the wins record, but you could tell the pressure was starting to become impossible
