Kelly's younger Brother yo!..Regarding MC, yes she can write but she does leave creative control to others sometimes...she will still get co-writing credits, even when she hasnt written a single lyric which is the case with 'Touch My Body'...its the same deal with Beyonce and 'Put A Ring On It'...The Dream wrote the entire song, but B still gets credit (Mathew Knowles set that up)...U can tell by the vocal delivery, and the melodies who wrote the joints...fact.

You notice the only 1 hit Mariah had from her last album was "Touch my Body" & it was written/produced by The-Dream.Hell he wrote/produced Rihanna biggest hit "Umbrella" & J.Holiday's Bed.The dude is making hits for everyone including himself.I think he knows what young people like & if she wants to sell that's who she has to appeal to.

The song was already pre-written by him.He had a demo of it ready for Mariah.Mariah,Stewart & Crystal changed a few things in the song that's where "Co-written" comes in at for them all!

Dream & Stewart were the one's who produced the beat to Touch my Body.Mariah got the producer credit because she does have some say so over how she wants her music to sound but I hardly doubt she knows how to work studio equipment.

MC truly writes and coprioduces all of her songs. She especially arranges and crafts her vocals alone in studio with her engineer. That is her style and producers would pay to work with her. She smacks it flips it and rubs it down to get only a record MC could make. Notice her stuff does not sound like the other chick's mess.
