I'm not a fan of items, but I don't mind them being used.

My friends would have a shit if I turned off items. Can't live without pokeballs and fucking bombs.

Items or no items, both these players suck. I hope there is another tournament for 2009, but in L.A. If there is, ill win it for sure, this game has changed dramatically since 08 and Iam pretty sure I'd win anyone 1v1. Iam 10-0 with DSF, 4-0 with Izaw, 8-0 with Rebaz, 3-0 with sagemoon, 2-0 with luckylime, 9-0 with Reaper, 2-0 with Dozer, 2-0 wtih meep. I Challenge anyone else who thinks they are good. Msg your brawl code and ill show you what its like to get raped. Items or not skill is all.

i think that the fact at using items is completely unfair. what mainly happens is the first person to use a good item has the freedom to find another while the opponent is flying away, trying to recover. in my opinion, the only item should be the smash ball, because final smashes in some cases is the reason why the character would be chosen (e.x. olimar, jigglypuff) and since no other items would be on, you would have to use skillful combos to win. but that's just my opinion.

So not true. Olimar is a great character with or without his smash (or at least I think so, considering I use him as my main). There aren't many good Olimar players, or even people who use him for that matter, so don't say he's only used for his smash. I could probably take anyone on besides Iam... that dude is just TOO good.

Wow! I'm impressed that Lucas could dodge the Dragoon. If I tried I would have died, pitifully. Overall it was a good match. ( I don't appreciate items being used, it shows no skill whatsover)

I think that saying "no skill" is untrue, but I agree to the extent that items shouldnt be allowed in tournaments.
