It's very controllable with drag brakes. You might want to start replacing part after part with RPM if you're going to do one-wheel landings like that. ya but when someone puts twin vxl's in and not a diferent tenth scale system they want water proff and if he put a mamba monster or whatever system your running he would have more troble controling it and break something important so this might just be him getting used to the power of brushless so he can step up to what your ever your running

It depends of what version you order, if it´s the brushed e-revo (aprox $450), that comes with the AM common radio. But if is the brushless edition (aprox $600) comes with the 2.4Ghz radio.

Get the Brushless Edition, best bang for buck. You get a $300 brushless system and a $150 radio for $200 more.

Sooner or later you gonna go brushless anyway and I can tell you that the Mamba Monster Combo don´t work very well in some AM or FM radios.

Im gonna get two chinese brushless systems and each of them is just as powerful as a mamba max and im rly stuck with what fm to get because i can get brushed e revo for $400 and then the twin brushless for $80 the brushless e revo is 650 so... i think two mamba max can beat a mamba monster since u are an expert at dis so which fm radio is the best deal and good performance

have a question. i love RC's and have been saving up for a good one: E revo is at the top of my list. seen the vids (one can go 91+mph!) and i'm really motivated. but with the E-revo, there is the brushless system and the regular revo. the regular revo can go through water but the brushless can't. is there any way i can get both speed and all terrain?

the brushless can go though water but i would not do it often because it is water proof to only a certain extent. i would not say the brushed moters are water proof though.

@FriendlyFooFighter the BRUSHLESS edition 1/10 e-revo is NOT waterproof. the 1/16 mini e-revo vxl is waterproof. the brushless 1/10 has a mamba monster system in it and is not waterproof. you CAN waterproof it but it would void the warranty.

Claro, con mucho gusto. Mándame un MP pero hoy en día realmente por el mismo precio te recomiendo un sistema de un solo motor ya que hay que estar muy pendiente de las temperaturas y sincronización, aparte del peso extra.

Ok if wou watch your motor and esc temps, with a single VXL and one 3s battery goes fine if you let it cool down every eight minutes (in my case and with lipo, don´t know with NiMh.

It´s a blast, about $300 for two VXL, great torque and top speed. But now that Mamba Monsters V3 are coming in about the same price is best to buy a single motor HV system like this over a v-twin system.

Yes, I´m using just one now, geared 16/68 with one 3s lipo and two 12v fans.

ESC= 125 F

MOTOR= 120 F

BATTS= 90 F

So far I´m very pleaced with this setup because I´m now really need to pass 35MPH

Hi, no, the e-revo is a tank! Even with the added weight have nothing broke, but is just matter of time due the high power and speed. I´m gonna try a single velineon in 3s geared for 35MPH next time just to see how it performs.
