@kakashi1150 The monk (Lu Zhishen) decides to test Lin Chong once he hears that he is head instruictor of the 800,000 strong army. Upon losing, Zhishen asks how he knows the Lin family spear techniques and Lin Chong reveals his identity. My mandarin is not very good, but I think I am largely accurate.

Well,to put it simply. At first Lin Chong gives his compliment to Lu Zhishen's skills,but the latter thinks Lin Chong,then a stranger to him,is actually mocking him. Then Lu challenges Lin chong because of that and he *hates his mug*.

After Lin Chong teaches him a lesson about skills,Lu is astonished to see someone using *The Lin clan's spear stances*. Then Lin Chong tells Lu his name and you guess the rest,my friend.

if you can read chinese, read the book jin ping mei. really good classic novel! very pronographic and erotic, written during the ming dynasty period and anonymous author (for good reason too: if the emperor found out he or she wrote it, that author would be killed). i feel jin ping mei is the best, and most controversial, chinese novel in chinese literature.

San Guo, Shui Hu, Xi You Ji, and Jin Ping Mei are all great, and I happen to be obsessed with San Guo myself, but aren't we forgetting Hong Lou Meng (Dream of the Red Chamber)? It's a great outlook on human relationships and psychology. A book that must be mentioned along with the rest of these masterful novels.

If Lu Zhisen is a great bear,then Lin Chong is a wise wolf.

This scene makes me feel nostalgic.. There was another pwnage scene where Lin Chong was suffering on an exile,then Lu Zhisen rescued him. When the guards tried to interfere,Lu Zhisen punched down (Yep,punched down) a very big tree and asked "You got problem?" You must see the look on their faces,it's fabulous. =))

Oh well,this 97 series is full of pwnage scenes anyway. =)
