i agree bout the need for legal spots but not bout the fact that u must think everywriter is a criminal. fair enuff its criminal to write on a wall but i wonder how many of the writers that take the time and effort to draw and create such works of art are hardcore gangbangers dealers or rapists.
I have seen the effect of graffiti in US cities like New Orleans. These kids need to get their own canvases. Since most of them don't have money, some rich Torononian needs to step in and provide the canvases! Also exhibit space! Cause left unchecked, the graffiti will enable the criminal elements to turn Toronto into a gigantic shithole, like Detroit!!!
That means the law-abiding, gainfully employed Torontans will eventually have to decamp for Missausauga, Brampton, Vaugan, Markham, Oshawa, etc. And those staying behind will trash the place!
