This song was made by tears for fears (everyone should know that -.-). Gary Jules made a cover version which was then remixed by Dark by Design (This song BTW for slow people) simply put, this is a remix of a cover version, all 3 are amazing IMO.

It all fits together just fine but the vocals are being distorted with vibra clipping, Basically It sounds like the person singing is being shaken. I do this for a living and from what I hear, It really needs to be cleaned up before it is finalized.
