@MusicLover4Him Actually, i think the title "Battle Axes" is just the title video. I think the video is just intro for the song "Light Up the Sky". Or at least it sounds exactly like it to me. Listen to the "Joel in Studio - Bass Day 2" video at about 40 seconds in, and then listen to the "Battle Axes" video. The guitar lines are identical.

@OishiiTerp Good point, I didn't notice that. =P But I'm pretty sure those are the songs (i.e., the one's Trevor's been posting clips of) that are going to released in February, rather than in October. The ones in the beginning or background of Joel's videos are the fan edition ones, I'm pretty sure. Because those songs are complete as opposed to Trevor's clips of songs being worked on in the studio. But we'll know in less than 2 weeks, won't we? :D

@MusicLover4Him Nonononono. These songs will be released in October via fan edition of Welcome to the Masquerade or something. They are making an entirely new album come February, I believe.

I was wondering....do you use all your basses in standard tuning? As in, EADG? Cuz I saw Red the other month, and Randy used several basses in standard three steps down or five or whatever. I was just wondering if that was a common thing.

This song sounds like it's gonna be a good one. So far it sounds on level with the CD Welcome to the Masquerade, and that's a GREAT compliment. If it reaches or surpasses the bar set by WTTM, I will be very satisfied by this CD!

@erok2020 It's awesome. They can each stay at home and chill, while recording the album. They email the tracks to each other I assume. Great low-budget way to make a record!

@theorthianguy What they probably do is, track an instrument and send the whole Pro Tools session to everyone else, and then they open it wherever they are, track their instrument, and send it back to whoever.
