cam you make new video with ussing wire opportunities in new addon "stargate with groups"? I did many new for the wire + stargate, but no one uses all the new features... I have not seen any videos madenot by me, with my addon and wire opportunities... to sad =( maybe just need a little more time passed, I do not know.

Does anyone else have a problem with the Iris part of the code? The only way I could get it to display properly was to delete the part of the code that handles the Iris.
That's because the screen doesn't just show a pre-recorded animation, but actually takes all the outputs of the stargates and shows them live on the screen.
I.e. the state of every chevron, the opening of the stargate and if it's inbound or not are all signals that the GPU takes as inputs.
So in whatever way the Stargate behaves, the GPU screen will show exactly the same. ;)
It's in WireMod. Maybe you have to update to the latest version.
Then you can find it in the wire tab at the very top.
You first have to spawn the GPU screen using the STool, then you Quickload "stargate.txt" (which is included in the latest update, among with other neat programs) and update the GPU screen.

I haven't played garrysmod for a long time. I also don't have the map or scripts anymore because I reinstalled Steam since that time.
Also I'm not even sure if the GPU is even in the Stargate mod anymore.

It's included in the wire mod addon for GMod.
You then can find it ingame under "GPU" or sth. in the Wire tab.
And Stargate.txt file is in garrysmod\addons\wire\data\GPUChip

I find the GPU incredibly taxing on the framerate, though. It's like an RT cam -- I know as soon as someone spawns it because my framerate halves.
If only something could ever be made for Gmod that doesn't make it a laggy unenjoyable mess :(

The GPU Screen itself is a part of the wiremod.
So if you have wiremod it is already in there, no dupe needed.^^

That's an addon called "Depth Hud".
You can find it at garrysmod(dot)org
Just enter "Depth Hud" in the search and you'll find it.
