We should commend high school students and the director for challenging themselves with this literature. I'm not sure what people are trying to accomplish by disparaging these students' efforts, but I'm sure you made them feel really great about all their hard work. As for comments regarding to the director, do you really need a conductor to sway around on stage for you to be able to feel music...?

Tempo is slow, several alignment issues. High schools should not play literature of this level if the can't really play it. Nice attempt but no cookie. Needs more excitement and contrasts, everything loud and all the director is doing is beating time

this piece is pretty emotional. the name of this mvmt is called "forces of war unleashed"

I like how the woman who is conducting this shows no emotion whatsoever in her body. Sad really, since this is such an amazing piece for string quartet. For string orchestra, it's a little too fluffy.
