  • That is very impressive. Very nice looking as well.

    How were the graphs created?

You mention something about flash. But if they are java applets they might be programmically drawn, but that would be quite difficult.

  • Hi 5pyz3r! My internet provider (club internet not to mention it) never had fixed my connection troubles from April 2008, yes 2008 till today. I switch to a much valuable replacement, a cable one with great performance. I am very glad someone appreciates this simple snapshot written in java. It's not that hard. At all. I bought 8 years ago one of IMHO best manuasl about Java servlets written by Jason Hunter and William Crawford. I'll try to find my little code and I'll send it to you if u want.

  • I don"t completely understand the second part of your post. I suppose you meant java is somewhat less easy to handle (?). After having used heavily flash even in its quite oldest versions those late months, I do recommend you - if response time was not too important - to take advantage of many chunks of more or less well-written codes in flash java(action)script. I'll soon post a demo of how a user interface could be enhanced using flash and some shellscripts to back automatic refresh of images.

  • Last part of my post. Dealing with how I created these graphs. As I mention in introduction info, RRDtools is my tools. Google the word and you'll find more than 100000 refs. I should point you out that it's much easier to use a linux based computer. For the simple reason, you'll be able to use very powerfull shellscripts to achieve those kind of graphs. I'll post much more details on a blog of mine and I'll keep you in touch. Thanks for your interest in my job.
