@youbestbequiet :No, Swann was one of the hosts of the 1990 revival of To Tell the Truth, which aired originally on NBC and reran sometime later on GSN.

Swann's involvement on the show was originally as a panelist...they started out with Gordon Elliott as the host, but somehow or other, Elliott wound up leaving the show, replaced by Swann and later by Alex Trebek. Very odd that they went through three hosts, since this version of the show lasted about a year.

This is weird since Catherine Bell had the same job (body double) although for different films and actresses. Seems like she would know the answers too. By the way, Shelley Michelle produced, wrote and starred in her own film, GALAXY HUNTER in 2004. It stunk.

I fortunately never saw this version. Have to agree that the set was horrible (not exactly handicapped accessible). I bring this up because on the old show, panelist Bill Cullen walked with a limp and would not be able to use those stairs.

That could be the reason why Lynn left the show but NBC wasn't happy with the show. This was the time they tried to bring Lets Make a Deal back without Monty Hall and then he made an appearance to try to resurrect it. It wasn't on very long and NBC didn't show any game shows after this. A year or two later they did try to redo Scrabble and another Dick Clarck show for a short time but it was pretty much a filler though until they could find another talk show.

The worst version of TTTT. I recall that Alex Trebeck took over the hosting duties before NBC pulled the plug on this one. One of the last daytime game shows on NBC. An overdone version of the set with elements of the mid to late 70s version of that set added.

Kitty Carlile made appearences on here but she wouldn't walk to her chair in this version.

Actually she did walk to her chair for a good portion of this version, but wasn't able to for a short time. The reason that Lynn Swann had to leave the show was because he had too busy of a schedule being a football commentator for ABC.

Cahterine Bell also began as a nude body double, most famously for Isabella Rossellini in "Death Becomes Her" two years after this. Cathy was 22 at the time and joined Jag 6 years later.

How funny that Cathy was the one who went further in her career as an actress-- this girl has got alot of talent!! Just watch her on JAG and now Army Wives and you can see the range of acting that she can do!!! :) Not to mention she is so cool- athletic, intelligent, and beautiful!!
