This so-called "remedy" is interesting in theory, but I believe that depression has various causes. Also, there are differences in the severity of the depression symptoms in different individuals. I don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" solution to depression. Some people definitely need medication to help treat their depression symptoms.
There is a CURE for deep Depression, Despair, and Hopelessness. I was in the Chains of Hopelessness for years and couldn't find anyway out. I used my Addictions to cover up the pains I was feeling. If it was processed, don't eat it- NO MORE milk, frozen foods, white bread, fast food, hydrogenated oils, precooked food, preservatives, canned foods, white rice, white sugar, soda, artificial sweeteners, fried food, juice!
i think it's only a part solution, telling people that they should live more like they did in the stone age, it's good to become aware in the first place, but i mean this society, with constant monetary growth, short term thinking, with little or no thoughts on tomorrow, we have marginalized our possibilities to live like we did before, we have to start looking, at how we can change the monetary system, so that we can be relieved of dept, and eventually be free to live like we please:)

I have college loan debt which I believe is what is triggering my depression... having pressure in the back of my mind that I owe money to banks and can't do much about it right now because it's impossible to get a high enough paying job to even start to tackle the debt is killing me! And the negative effects of debt on your mood creep up on you... and most people don't know how it affects them or that it is affecting them!

I agree, I love sleeping, I treasure every minute of it, on sunlight? the ama's way of keeping you from getting it, it provides vitamin D, rickets, and SADS. Take natural supplements, omega 3 & 6, high b vites, c vites, include plenty of protein, and brain supp, such as same, valerian, st john's wort, etc. We can conquer this epidemic.!

At least 20,000 Americans commit suicide each year...and... according to the World Health Organization...depression will be the second largest killer after heart disease by the year 2020. Perhaps the most disturbing statistic of all...preschoolers are the fastest growing demographic for antidepressants. If you have any thoughts on all this ... please leave them in the box provided ...
