It's Boogie Woogie, straight from the 1940's. A very popular sound for about ten years plus. It fit the swing era very well, and has been used in some early rock as well into the late 50's. Great sound.

I knew Maurice Rocco from the Bangkok dixieland jazz club around 71-72. Great times swinging until the wee hours. man fun times!
