wayy better trust me. slight big buggier, but once you're used to it there is no going back. and it has 1080p and flip only does 720 and 30fps :P

The GoPro HD looks like it has the exact same sensor. I havent used one, but it looks like the camera has better firmware for controlling the image. Other than that, the image should be very similar.
