of course kara isn't going to be better than mariah. mariah is the original and no one can beat that. but kara is 1 million times better than this bikini bitch. kara isn't being insecure she is just showing this girl who has the real talent. this katrina girl is just desperate for attention. kara is wayyyyyyyy more talented and wayyyyyyyyyy more good looking.

Paula and Kara are so jealous and catty. Kara does not even come close to sounding as good as the original version by Mariah. She also looked really desperate showing her body at the end. kara is so rude and unprofessional. if you don't like an auditionee (or whatever the word is lol) you don't try to show them up. just say that you're not ready for hollywood. you don't have to sing their audition song back to them and say that you're better than them.

Kara is one of the most sought after songwriters in the business. Its a matter of respect. Nothing should have been said to her. period. and once Katrina opened her mouth I think Kara had ever right to show her what a REAL artist sounds like. and she did. She totally owned. Go Kara!

she is an amazing WRITER; so many songs that i love, i realized that she wrote. and her voice is good too. i just think that she was really immature and rude during this audition. she should've just said that she wasn't ready for hollywood. she didn't have to sing the song back in katrina's face just to show her up.

@marcialoyd, Of course not a good idea to say hers wasn't better, but it it underlined what a neurotic, insecure, jealous bitch Kara really is. Katrina was just another mid-grade contestant, but what Kara did to her in retaliation wasn't called for period. Next, Kara's song writing isn't THAT amazingly fantastic all the time. Some material isn't that good. But of course the typical, female audience never notices how unprofessional Kara was because they're out for blood, marcia, lol.

@cornersj5, Kara has MAJOR personality flaws that surfaced during that season. Not trying to stick up for Katrina, but Kara is a manipulative, insecure, bitch. Usually only women fail to see this because they are so focused on how much they hate Katrina that they miss that Kara has issues she shouldn't have as a professional. Also if they didn't like her, calling her back to the show shouldn't have be used as an opportunity for Kara to further prove she had even more serious issues.
