@Rayden184 Yeah I was born here in 82. Used to be a great place; but fruit loop Portland people and Californians came and turned it into a hippy/ yuppy playground. Downtown is disgusting. Nothing but the occupy type and latte drinking, Prius driving arrogant hemp wearing deusch bags. (Deush, Deuche??) However you spell that.

Nice attempt, I also think the clips change too quickly in contrast to the soothing voice message. Who is your target market? If it is over 30, they are not used to quick quick quick, better to to take out some images and have at least some of the video at a slower pace. The voice over is very good and relaxing. The overall message it right on.

For those people who dont live there (i live in bend oregon) i have to say its a nice place to live in and the winters aré really cold and it snows a lot. In the summer ita okay but sometimes can be really hot i enjoy Bend Oregon

nice video but it's pretty chopped up with trying to show everything. One scene to another is very fast so you can't really see/enjoy the images of Bend

I would just like to add that there are a number of local businesses featured like the Tower Theatre, Bellatazza, Staccato, Thump, Urban Vanilla Threads, Deschutes Brewery, and 900 Wall... to name a few. To pack the entire unique experience of Bend Oregon into only 2.5 minutes of video is next to impossible, but I think we nailed it.

Look for more upcoming videos specifically featuring downtown Bend, the Old Mill, snowshoeing, paddling & whitewater activities & much more in 2010.

wow...not a single mention of the local businesses in the town like leapin' lizards, toomies, thump, any mexican restaurant, any of the three community theaters, bend film...nice. Let's make sure everyone knows there is nothing unique about our city.

Toomies was shown (1:26). I think the key to this video was to capture as much as they can in the shortest amount of time to keep the viewer interested. It doesn't cover everything but very well done nonetheless.... Maybe a PART II coming soon? with horseback riding, Smith Rock climbing, dog sledding, cyclocross etc... Maybe Glimslice will help fund it.
