You're right, continuing to get strikes is the tough part but obviously can be done since perfect games are done thousands of times a year. That is what tenpin was designed for. Candlepin and duckpin are set up in the exact same triangular configuration with a much smaller ball. The ball is big in tenpin because its a game built for strikes but unfortunately it can become mundane.
I'm not saying its easier but there is much more to ten pin bowling than any other type of bowling. You have to know the lane and your equipment. you can't just pick up any ball and throw it the same way everytime.

Anyway the pins are placed in an equilateral triangle 3 feet to each corner and they're 60feet away...

Try it first before you knock it, KJ. It may look easy because of the small ball but I bet you would have a tough time breaking 100 your first time.
